Paper Tiger - 'Origami Sounds'
The culmination of nearly three years of music-making-as-escapism
and daydreaming, this is Paper Tiger's debut and the origin
of the Origami Sounds ethic. A psychedelic yet ever-danceable
record, it has the organic sensibilities of funk, jazz and
afro-beat but with a modern production style reminiscent
of modern hip-hop and broken beat. Featuring a cast of guest
vocalists and musicians, this is hopefully the start of
many great things from the Paper Tiger collective.
